Re: Segoe Kensaku and the Nihon Ki-in
Thank you, John, that's very helpful.
Just to clarify, I meant obscure in the sense that it's hard to obtain information about him, or at least harder than one would expect. Do you by any chance know of any English-language source on Segoe's life? I imagine The Go Companion might include something ...

Segoe Kensaku and the Nihon Ki-in
I'm researching what I can about Segoe Kensaku's life, which appears to me as a particularly obscure character in Go History despite his clear importance in it, and I stumble upon this on his very short wikipedia page: "An internal quarrel in the Nihon Ki-in led to his becoming an isolated, if very ...

Re: Looking for "philosophy on the board"
Hi Martin,
Go With the Flow, by Cho Hunhyun, certainly fits the description "Go knowledge applied to life", at least in parts. Sometimes it goes the self-help route with fairly over-simplistic statements about life, character, and will, but I'd say it's an interesting book nonetheless.

This is very interesting, John, thank you for sharing.
I'm curious about this new material, "Understanding honte." Is it a book, a series of articles, or something else?
Thanks a lot

Thank you, Robert.
I'll try to buy them directly from a Korean retailer first, if I can find one.

Books by Kim Sungrae
Hi all.
I'm looking for the books "100 AI Joseki" and "New Joseki and Opening of AI", both by Kim Sungrae. I've found the first one here , but the shipping cost to Argentina is quite ridiculous (it's more than 40 euros, when the book is 25 euros), and they doesn't have the second book.

Collaboration needed.
Hi everyone!
I don't post regularly, but I always read L19 and I really enjoy it.
I write this post to ask for a small collaboration. I'm writing an interactive fiction about variables and posibilities in life, which features go as part of the story and as symbol of those posibilities. I don't ...

Thank you S2W! That's useful.
Bill, about searching on databases, I actually did it, but I was looking for something more "Enclosure Josekis" by Takemiya kind of thing.
Thanks.
