Does anyone feel the character Kuwabara Sensei from Hikaru no Go (spelling?) was the inspired by this guy? Even his laugh and voice a very similar.

I was rewatching it when I made this post. One interesting snippet was the Korean players were discussing the devine move. Thanks for a non-AI post. 20 years for the anime! Whew, I remember buying the Japanese DVDs and following along with the English comics. Then buying the English dubbed DVDs. Then watching on Netflix.

So, studio Pierrot has launched a commemorative site to the beloved anime's 20th anniversary. The actual anniversary is Oct 10th and from what I can make out more things will be announced closer to that day. The first thing was a commemorative illustration that you can view on the main site. That was a very interesting video, thanks for sharing. I find the 'making of' stuff fairly interesting and when its about a hobby your interested in its even more so.
