I think Tygem has rating points as well. They just don't have any influence on your rank.

Same problem here, I made a new account two months ago and it hasn't gotten any points. The one I used before got them without me doing anything. Perhaps it's a new problem with the english client?

Why? We have discussions about professional tournaments as well without organizers creating the threads. Perhaps the reason is that this forum is too international? I mean in the german forum are lots of threads about ...

I think the forum has lately gotten quiet overall.

The best thing about the egc is the 3d player named Sai, who won the first seven rounds.

I had this problem lately with some servers. I also had a game that froze multiple times for several minutes without any disconnection. Had anyone else any problems?

I also think there has been an overall downwards trend. At least for the last month I am pretty sure of it, since I stopped playing with a previously active account and it went down about 0.2 ranks.

I have seen regular players not improving at any level, even as low as 20 kyu. It seemed they were playing enough games and also getting teaching games from time to time. Perhaps they do the same mistakes over and over?

By guessing names I would say that around 20% of all active EGF-ranked ddk players seem to be female. Less than 5% in the dan ranks.
