I just want to add some books to the list:
On shape there is Valery Shikshins "The Theory and Practice of Shapes". I bought it recently, together with the Tsumego-book. I didn't start with the shape-book yet, so I can't say too much about it. But I am really liking the Tsumego-book, so I have hopes ...

Re: PlaySlow
I really had to smile when I read your post. It could have been written by me: (passed the 30 year mark, tried focusing on go several times but let it go again (in my case for example to play Starcraft or get into photography), bought way too many go-books, discovered YouTube-channels etc. Oh, and I ...

Good work!
Last week I tried to view the lectures but didn't get the plugins to work. So I gave up frustrated. I might try again, so I can verify the solutions to your compiled problems. Thank you for doing this!

Re: Path to 9Dan, step by step.
btw your guide to getting stronger at Go is fantastic - i'm loving the book recommendations and study methods in them.
Thank you! I guess, I should update it again : D Especially concerning overlearning problems and my take on pro game studying.

I'm not at home right now, so I'm not 100% sure. But isn't CTRL + V supposed to show the Ascii diagram?

I love it! It Looks like I will have no more excuses to not show diagrams in this forum
One more thing: when pressing CTRL + V nothing happens (I guess there are two functions for this keyboard shortcut).

DGS question: show/hide features
By accident I hit the red 'x' on the features-table, which hid my remaining time. I spent so much time trying to show it again... it's frustrating. Can someone please tell me how to fix this? I uploaded a snapshot, in case it is not clear what I mean (DGS set to german language).

It's just a wild guess, but there could be some translated excerpts in the British Go Jounals. There are some gems hidden for sure: http://www.britgo.org/bgj/bgj.html

Re: Roadmap to Shodan
This reads a bit like a "Dictionary of Basic Tesuji" kind of book. Which is similary not really fit for grinding the problems but for looking-up Tesuji for various situations.
Yes, I was thinking the same. Unfortunately the book cover tells us to go through 'A Survey of the Basic Tesujis' quick ...

Re: Roadmap to Shodan
Hi zac,
I don't mind at all, I think there should be far more Information about Go books out there
I am currently at work, so I can't type out all of the 38 chapters eventhough I have the book with me. Those chapters are named after tesuji like 'crawling','turning', 'atari', 'pushing' and so on ...

Re: Roadmap to Shodan
I received the newest book (A Survey of the Basic Tesujis) two days ago. It's my first book of this series and I was wondering if the other books were like this too. I really dislike the layout, which reminds me of math class like assignments. They present a couple of diagrams and below will be the ...

Re: Found a very helpful Go Youtube Channel of Yunxuan Li 8D
I really like the length of the videos. In my opinion most of the other videos are too long. It gets hard to concentrate and I lose interest. So this is really nice, thank you for sharing!

Re: Shusaku invincible
I own the book but I'm about to purchase the gobooks-version for the iPad. It's so much nicer to play move by move through the diagrams (and you can still use a wooden goban to replay certain moves)
