Re: Struck gold!

John,
thank you for the review. My Japanese is at (or perhaps just beyond) the tsume-go book level you mentioned. But at 500 yen the price of the books are easily within the range of my minor mad money and they seem to echo some themes harped on by my go teacher. Could you please include the ISBN ...

Re: Go Server Recommendation

Thanks for all the replies,

Ed Lee,

Re: Go Server Recommendation

Dr. Straw,
thanks for the suggestion, I just tried that and got a message stating:

"Your security setting have blocked an application with an expired or not-yet-valid certificate from running"

Re: Describe your favorite pro (or non-pro) go teacher(s)

Dr. Straw,
Tulsa,
If there is an active club now, I am not aware of it. That is why my go gaming is now confined to the Internet.

Hello

Hello,
I registered after lurking here for some time. I hail from Oklahoma as you might guess from my screen name. I have been playing go off and on for about 30 years. Currently I play, when I have time, on KGS where I am a 2 kyu.

I will add a few posts to this just to play with some of the ...
