Can I grab some corner territory as black?

At endgame, is it usually possible to grab some mini-territory on an enemy corner already surrounded by walls? Maybe it's very tricky to do that before the enemy managed to kill you, but wondering if it's possible if the enemy responds correctly. I've lost large territories myself in such a way ...
