That was a great game by Shin. It seems the only real mistake Ke made was on the upper left where he didn't choose to go for a ko, but Shin capitalized and maintained the lead all the way to the end.

The final will start on 02/01.

Lian Xiao had the game in hand, but made a crucial late-game mistake to lose to Shin.

Tang Weixing always seems to raise his game in international tournaments and is able to beat Ke Jie, who has lost in the semifinal here for the past 3 times.

Both Shin and Xie won Game 2 to advance to the final.

Xie is also promoted to 9p with his second final in major international tournaments, both coming this month.

Shin Jinseo beat Zhao Chenyu

Both games were similar in the sense that both losing players started out well and were up big at one point (Zhao even more so than Ichiriki), but both were short on time, and the unique Ing Cup rule of penalizing/trading ...

Both Mi and Xie won game 2 as well and will meet in the final. Mi won his only world title in the 1st MLily Cup, while Xie is looking for his breakthrough after getting into the semifinal here last year.

MLily's semifinal is actually best of 3. Mi and Xie won game 1.
