Re: Aji's Quest

Amazing comic, Inkwolf!

I have just discovered and I'm hooked! I devoured the 125 pages in one go, couldn't let it down!

Keep up the great work!

Best regards,

(hehe, kangaroo no go... :-) )

Re: Game records download

If you point Dropbox at the Games folder, you should be able to access them from more or less anywhere, right?

Interesting, saving the games on the net... It may be a way to overcome this limitation (which is certainly useful! Particularly in KGS you can download all games of a given player, by ...

Re: Game records download

It actually stores a copy of the game on your computer automatically in the Program Files/TygemGlobal/Games/ folder. They are in .gib format and would need to be converted to SFG using another application.

Yes, I found out I can use Multigo, for example, to convert it to SGF... I was thinking on ...

Hi all!

Is there a link to download game records from the new TygemBaduk server, or just through the client?

Thank you very much!

Re: 70. Suji (14k) vs. SinK (17k)

Not for the players:

For what it's worth, the primary direction of that last 5-3 stone is along the right edge anyway, so it is still working in general towards (and with) the 4-4 stone in the top right. Looks interesting enough to me

Agreed--if black gets thickness facing the right side ...

Re: Prokovich game

I find this idea very exciting and I hope I'll learn a lot while asking for your indulgence on my errors...

This should be almost joseki: black gets a lot of influence on the center while keeping white on the edges...

Re: Hwang Inseong - new teacher of the Insei League

You will also see him in KPMC in Korea in October.
I am sure that Ilya improved a lot and he has some chances to beat Korean/Japanese/Chinese representatives and even get 1-st place!

We'll be rooting for our flamant new European champion! However I'll also root for Óscar Anguila, Spain's ...

Re: An Appreciation of Go (Marcus' Study Journal)

Let's talk about a recent game of mine.

I played a game for the ASR League recently, which drove home joseki choice rather heavily. I've been playing with a particular joseki for a little while now because I like it, and many people don't seem to know the continuations very well. My opponent in ...

Re: How to play on the 15th IWAG Tounament ranked cup

I happened to see an empty list in the IWAG room when I refined the player search by rank. When I reset it to 9p-BC, the list showed up correctly.

Thank you, this worked perfectly with qGo... I was trying to set the search at the room levels, but the filtering must be bugged by the room rules ...

How to play on the 15th IWAG Tounament ranked cup

Greetings,

The IWAG has finally started but the room I must play on so my games count for the Tournament is always empty.

Does someone know if I have to hunt players from elsewhere or is there a way to know who participates in the same category as I do so I can try to set up a playing schedule ...
