Hi WMS,
I know you have said that you wish to have greater control over the client. My suggestion is, provided you have enough time, to make a flex client. This would be better supported on all mobile platforms, and anything that can use a web browser. I know this would mean that the client would ...

Re: Baduk TV is on the air (again)
I am currently paying for it. I didn't do anything other then throw some money at them for a month of BadukTV and SkyBaduk. When there was an outage that lasted for 4 hours. During near mid-night to 2AM EST, I received a free month of the HD Baduk TV that they offer. The stream quality is not to ...

Re: Kaya Go bowls a good idea?
Thanks for the info; I was concerned due to the difference in our climates. Since, the winters in Canada are very cold and dry in comparison to Hong Kong, not to discount your advice tchan. Is there anyone else who owns a set of Kaya bowls that lives in North America, or a similar climate? I was ...

Re: Kaya Go bowls a good idea?
So, just to clarify there is no issues regarding Kaya wood cracking or splitting when used as a material to make bowls?

Re: Kaya Go bowls a good idea?
Thank you for much for the reply. I believe they are lacquered on the inside, as they seem to be very shiny in the photos on both the inside and outside of the bowls. Even if they are not though, I'm happy to hear about glass stones being impervious to staining. Since, I tend to prefer them over ...

Re: Kaya Go bowls a good idea?
So, if they were not stained, then there would be no issue? Dont know, if that is an option with Go bowls or not. Kinda, a newb when it comes to Go bowls.

Kaya Go bowls a good idea?
Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering if Kaya Go bowls would be a good idea. As I want something that will last and looks nicer then my current jujube bowls. I have both glass and Yonzi stones, so that wont be an issue. My main concern is with their durability, as I know that Shin-Kaya can crack, due to ...

Re: beginner getting destroyed
Use igowin, beat it to the ground, then move on to 13x13 and finally 19x19. It takes a bit, but if u can get igowin below 10 kyu then its about time to play on a 19x19 board.
Re: The wall
What I find when I hit a wall is to take a break for a day or two, then play a teaching game with someone, solve about 120 go problems at Gobase.org, and finally play a game after that.
Ya, long list - but it works

Re: Many Faces of Go software?
I've used Many Faces of Go 10, and 11. They are good for the problem libraries, however SmartGo is far better priced. Also if you have an ipoid touch/ipad/iphone it is well worth the 12$ for the plus version. As for Moyo Go studio- the studio is too complicated for a GUI, has performance issues on a ...

Re: September Tournament: 19x19 DDK
I'd be willing to help as well. Since, I'm going to be on KGS more anyway's. I suggest the round robin as well. Since it doesn't put too much pressure on players participating.
