Post subject: | How to punish this mistake? |
Hello all, (first post so bear with me) In playing a game i had an opponent play a move during a fairly standard Joseki that i thought I had read was a mistake. I was unsure of the exact way/most benifical way to take advantage of this move and was hoping to learn from you all. I believe the correct correct move would be d15 but instead my opponent played the following. Let me know what you think, I am happy to learn! Thank you for your time. TheBlackStone |

White C18, usually black will follow with D18 (also a mistake), then white cuts at D15. After the cut white will get a very favorable position. |

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6155 This is a post that contains some discussion. Basically hane-connect and then clamp is the simplest variation in my opinion. You can also find some information on senseis at http://senseis.xmp.net/?44PointOneSpace ... terception |
