http://www.go4go.net/go/games/sgfview/54165 Just watched this game from a Chinese WeiqiTV video. From move 34, the players jumped more than 20 times like playing Chinese checker. This is one of the most weird games I've ever seen. |

Cool & weird game! I wonder if they sort of don't get "stuck" in some sort of game of chicken - with each jump just upping the stake? Since most games I've seen have players break from just jumping ever onwards in similar conditions(?) |

Unfortunately the link doesn't open in the go4go app on my mobile, so I can't look it up. Who was playing? As chinese checkers (which is neither chinese nor checkers) is played on triangles rather than squares I have problems visualising. Or are there two version of chinese checkers even though wikipedia only knows one? |

The game is a standard go game (Kim Sedong vs An Sungjoon), but the players played a series of one space jumps that apparently reminded macelee of Chinese checkers. It certainly didn't look like any professional game I've ever seen! It reminded me of amateurs stubbornly making their own weak groups larger in an attempt to capture one another, with the result that whoever wins the capturing race will certainly win the game. |

Thanks. I found it in the app. Would have been epic if that ended as a 0.5 point game.. |
