So I had fun at my first tournament.... was pretty cool.... Met a few people from the forum.. Joaz, Kirby, LindenTree, Violence...

I went 2-3 (5 games in total)...two of the games were recorded... One I won, one I lost. The One I lost I am still waiting for the sgf, the other I will post right now...

In this game I felt like my opening was weak... I felt like catching him in the ladder was a lucky break that gave me the momentum to take the game.... I played black...

2 out of 5 is pretty good, considering this is your first (?) tournament. well done

Did you record it with paper or mobile/pda? I thought you asked a question about recording, but i was too late to response.

I didn't record any myself... These ones were recorded by my opponent.. I might try to record next time I play a tourney though..

It was nice to meet you and the other L19 folks at the tournament, Jordus. I had a fantastic time. The tournament was very inspiring to me. It made me a little guilty of how much time I waste not studying go, though.

Congrats on playing in your first event. Next time strive to go 3-2 and spell the sponsors name correctly. ;-)

I went 2-2 and one bye. Violence was 3-2. How did everyone else finish?

Ah, really want to see photos from the tourney, there's only a few on the AGA website.

And seems everybody's doing well.

I went 3-2.

One of my losses was definitely a case of "losing a won game". I captured a very large group, and was careless later in the game.

My other loss was due to a reckless invasion.

Both were humiliating and shameful. I feel very guilty for not having studied go better recently.

Nope, I went 2-3. What a horrible second day... Because of one stupid mistake in both of my day two games, I ended up losing by 3.

I'm a bit salty.

Any way to see these without a facetome account?

I have some comments on your game, Jordus. These are some of the things that stuck out to me the most:

*The sequence from 37-45 seems to help white more than black.

*I'm not sure of the meaning of move 79 (E16)...

*Move 176 (A6) is so gote...

*At 205, you might consider P4 instead of P5 to connect.

*I don't think 243 (A17) is necessary.

Thanks for your comments...

Move 79 was me not reading right.. for some reason I thought it would take away an eye and make the group a dead group...

Move 205 I felt I had a good lead and decided to just play it safe and connect the way i did... I didn't want to take the chance of forgetting the false eye... especially on my last game of the tournament...

Move 243 I wasn't 100% sure if my response to an invasion there would be good... So I played it extra safe again....

I went 3-2, lost one by 0.5. ;-) Had a good time though, it was great meeting so many forum people. Anyway, Jordus, PM me for a game on KGS anytime. (I will refute all of your moves  )
