I looked for a Fox Forum, but did not find one so I am posting this here. I hope it is okay. I posted about this problem on the Facebook Go Group, and it was suggested that I post here. I created a blog post to describe my problem because it allowed me to describe it in detail and add images to illustrate the problem. http://terrischurter.blogspot.com/2021/ ... under.html If anyone who is running Fox under Parallels Desktop can help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Terri Schurter. Also known as buzzsaw on most go servers. |

Is there anyone else who is experiencing a similar problem? |

I can't help with this but I noticed that you also mention in your blog that there is a problem running Katrain in parallels but Katrain (I may be wrong here) should have support for mac. |

I run Fox in Windows 10 running inside Parallels Desktop on macOS. Current versions are Windows 10 21H1, Parallels Desktop 17.1.0, macOS 10.15.7, but I've had this setup for over a year with multiple versions of each component. I just now ran Fox for the first time in a few months and it updated itself with no issue and then ran as normal. I also am able to download games to my machine with no problem. I wonder if there is some setting in your Parallels Desktop setup that is preventing Fox from performing downloads, but I don't think I ever did anything special to permit it. I don't really have any further suggestions, sorry, just providing a data point that it is possible for Fox to run successfully under Parallels. |
