Hello, I have haverecently gone to England to work as a nanny again. I may say for certain that it is a very nice country, with kind people and stuff. I really like it here. I am a living in a small town next to Cambridge, and I was wondering if someone is around that area so we can play a game or two. I have heard that the British are really strong players and I would love to compete with one of the best. Looking forward of playing with you! Best Regards Stefany |

I'll be in Cambridge for a day or two in August 2011. Whatever you find, please post it here. |

I live about 20 miles away, and it's my local club. There's a cafe on Mill Road called "CB1" that normally has players in every Friday evening from 5 to 9 pm, and often on Sunday from 4 to 8 pm - it's well worth dropping in. There's also the University club on Monday evenings that meets from 8pm to 10 or 11pm, and that's in the Buttery of Clare College, Cambridge University. That's a fair bit harder to find unfortunately, though I can always draw you a map if you prefer that one. Sounds like maybe I should try to make it out on Friday the 14th if you are likely to be able to make it to Cambridge then? |

I think I could make it out maybe next weekend because it is my time off. I should ask my employer to drive me there, and it will be an honor to play a game with a 1d like you ![]() |

I wonder where you are. If you are at Royston and near the railway station then there is the Friday alternative of the London City Go Club which meets from 18:00 hrs - http://www.citygoplayers.org.uk/ (there is now a board fee of £1 to cover the cost of the 5 new go sets we just bought) I live equidistant between London and Cambridge and used to go to CB1 - which is certainly a nice club, but the rail service to London is better and the club stays open from 6pm until 11pm |
