They have some books which look really reasonable compared with other sellers, can anyone report on the quality of service, any problems, etc? I sent them an email on Sunday requesting an invoice before I make a payment but they haven't got back to me yet, what's the turnaround time like? |

I am a customer of het Paard for over a decade and did never encounter any problems. |

Very professional and trustworthy IMO, they are the supplier of books for the majority of the resellers in Europe so I seriously doudt that any others (me included) can compare (except that shipping costs may be more reasonable from a local store) /Mats |

As foreign customer I had problems with my first order. But I tried again a year later and was fine. They also have Western distribution rights to the only English commentated, contemporary games book "The Best Game Records of 2009." I recommend this book to all serious Western players. |

You should definitely pay a visit to the shop when in Amsterdam. It is fun. |

I've ordered a couple Chinese books from them, around two years ago. No problems, it all went smooth and I got the delivery quickly (from NL to Germany; they only charged me the actual postage). |

Thanks for the advice. I have now sent 2 emails but not yet got a response as to total cost. I guess I'll just wait for the email, until something pops up on Ebay, or the Trading Post... |

I've been buying books from them off and on over the last 15 years, and Peter Zandveld, the person who handles go books, is very friendly and helpful. Service is excellent, books are always delivered in excellent condition. Prices are a bit high to get free shipping, but I have no complaints at all. |

I have had the confirmation email and I'm just waiting for the books. I feel kind of bad, I got so impatient I had sent 3 emails politely asking for the books with slightly different wording each time... Never mind. For whom it may concern, they are currently offering ten percent off with free shipping, from the Kiseido website, on Kiseido books only. So you are getting a fantastic price for our sought-after and prized Go books. I should open an Amazon account, sell them at 1200% mark-up and retire... |
