Thank you, “liked” the page, although with some of those comics I’d really love to be able to read Japanese … nevertheless a few of them I found funny even if I can't :D

I'll attempt a quick translation (please forgive me if there are errors):

First one at the top:

1 - Ataa! Atatatatatata!
2 - You are...
3 - already dead!
Note: This is the famous line from anime Hokuto no ken (Fist of the North Star) that is being parodied.
4 - Bone of the North Star, I'll. eat. it!
- Seki! It's seki! It's not dead... and you can't eat it

Second one has no text so I'll skip to the latest one:

1 - Caption: Detective drama (tv show)
TV: When it comes to cases, there is no such thing as big or small
Dog: Right, right!
2 - Caption: Medical drama
TV: When it comes to lives, there is no so such thing as big or small (edit: meaning important or unimportant in this context)
Dog: yes! yes!
3 - When it comes to yose, there is no such thing as...
4 - big or small. *pachi*
Text on top (thinking voice?): I think there is, this yose is worth about 15 points, it's the biggest on board.
Brown dog: Oh really, it looks like you think there is...

Here are the first few pages of the new manga.

It's called "hoshizora no karasu" (literally "crow of the starry sky") by MORIE Satoshi. It's being published in Hana to Yume a shoujo manga magazine (targeted audience are girls aged 10 to 18).

Let's hope it's a success and it will get more young girls interested in playing go!

Thanks for the information!

Anybody able to give a better translation that what Google Translation made of this?
Google Translation wrote:
Go manga starting in Hana to Yume, a 13-year-old girl is aiming professional players
Magazines: related manga artist Moriesatoshi / Giulietta Suzuki / Hana to Yume

"Crow starry sky" Moriesatoshi new series will start at (Hakusensha) No. 21 flowers and dreams released on May 10.

Hero of the "crow's starry sky" is a 13-year-old girl waka Karasuma crazy to go to forget about the hair cut. Waka is taught from our grandfather was a professional players, professional players aim to impressed with a game-players of Soji Sagizaka genius. One-shot that has been published in 14 well received flowers and dreams, I was into the series and sunny.

No. 21, "Mobile Cleaner luck ☆ Granite Company" in "the beginning was God" Giulietta Suzuki has started broadcasting anime comes with a dream and this other flower.

“Flowers and dreams” … “a dream and this other flower”, heh, I think I like this, nevermind what a correct translation would be :D

Perhaps this is what I should write first in a Go server game, instead of “this is Tom in Germany :) good game!”

Flowers and dreams!

Here it is. Google's translation was a bit funny (it even got the date wrong!)
Quote:
MORIE Satoshi's new series "Hoshizora no Karasu" (starry sky's crow) starts in issue 21 of Hana to Yume that goes on sale October 5th.

The protagonist of "Hoshizora no Karasu" is KARASUMA Waka, a 13 y.o. girl who is so absorbed in go that she forgets to get her hair cut. Waka learned to play go from her grandfather who was a professional player. After being deeply impressed by a game with genius player SAGIZAKA Souji, she aims at becoming a pro player. Due to the popularity of the one-shot story published in issue #14 of Hana to Yume, publication as a full series is now announced.

The rest is about another series.

"Flowers and Dreams" is just the meaning of the name of the magazine (hana to yume) that I have kept untranslated.

Heh, that makes more sense than the Google translation, but I sort of liked the idea of a manga about a girl playing Go to forget about her bad haircut....
