What is the best way to pick up a go teacher or mentor? I'm serious about bringing up my level of play and I feel I would benefit a lot form a teacher. I learn extremely fast in a 1 on 1 setting as opposed to self-teaching. Any ideas? :)

Are you prepared to pay?

Possibly, to be honest my money is low right now :(

In which case I'd recommend the KTL (one of the KGS rooms) and the GTL (free game submission for reviews) :)

The most readily available 1 on 1 session is a game if you can get a reasonable review from your opponent. The ASR (see the forum here on L19) on KGS is strong on reviews.
