http://www.go4go.net/go/games/sgfview/41510 Bottom right whites group is dead but white has most of the left side of the board. Still i don't understand why the resignation, couldn't he try to reduce and come up ahead? |

Didn't white win by resign ? I guess black considered he couldn't win the semeai in the bottom right corner. As a side note, I would say that the left side is still widely open, the only thing white has for sure here is the bottom left corner territory. |

Because of the common liberty between the groups it is hard to see B killing W in the lower right. W probably gets a seki at worst. With the ko at the 1-1 point W is ahead in the semiai and I find it hard to imagine that B has a chance, especially as his group going up through the middle is close to death. |
