Only 51! How sad. I remember him from the first US Go Congress he attended, I think it was the ninth, in Massachusetts. I remember his enthusiasm for teaching. |

I was extremely sad to see it. I had a great time learning from him last year in Tacoma, and he always seemed to have a good time. He had already planned to come to NYC this year. This is very unfortunate. |

That's a great loss. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I remember playing against him in a simul. He had probably the best analysis of my mistakes that I have ever heard. It wasn't just telling me which moves were good or which moves were bad in that particular situation, but which moves followed good principles and which did not. |
