Gu Li lost to Park Younghoon. I hope Gu Li does not get into slump. Probably it is hard for him after losing BC card cup to Lee Sedol.

Maybe not much of a surprise: Akiyama won the last time they played when Akiyama 1d and Chang was 5d. It might be my imagination, but graduates of the Ryokusei Gakuen seem to do better than most Japanese against foreigners, and if that's true a possible explanation would be Kikuchi's policy of taking his pupils on trips overseas.

I think that should be "advanced to 4th round".

Well... yes... kind of... Actually that should be "advanced to the semifinals" (of the integration preliminary tournament) :)

This seems to be the semifinals, not the 3rd round.

Yes, there it is called "4th round". At igokisen, it is called "semifinals". Note that in both charts, the column shows the winner of the game of that round. For example, in round 4 Yu Bin won against Kim Kiyoung.

The charts have a different structure. Igokisen has always seemed eccentric to me, and the cyberoro one natural. Also, Kim Kiyoung is one of igokisen's regular mistakes. It should be Kim Ki-yong.

As far as I can see, the charts have exactly the same structure (the underlying table cells are exactly the same), but the lines and colouring are drawn differently. The colouring of the Cyberoro chart is a bit inconsistent between the first round and the subsequent ones (first the players of one match share a colour, but later they have different colours). Igokisen always colours the players, not the graph position, which I find helpful in seeing the way of the players through the tournament graph.

The inconsistent and sometimes wrong transcriptions at igokisen are a bit irritating, of course, but that is a different topic.

We just had a Lee Sedol x Gu Li Final. How about a Lee Sedol x Lee Changho now? But actually, I'm really looking forward to see Iyama Yuta on this cup.
