Post subject:  European professional online league, 2nd season
Next saturday (June 20th, 2020), we'll have the first game of the second season. Same players as the first one, BUT with Ryan Li, 1p AGA, invited into the fray. There will be more comments, some prizes... Bigger event all around. And I'd still like to see Asian certified pros in there, but I like Ryan Li was able to join.

While OGS won't allow me, again, to get a proper AI-SGF of the first game from yesterday's event, I can offer another analysis of the game between Kravets 1p and Li AGA.

You can get them here (2 links). If you browse their news, they also posted a game from the previous League [Kachanovskyi vs Lisy].

Yesterday's [July 26th] games between Ilya Shikshin 3p and Ali Jabarin 2p. Shikshin starts with black.







there's something quirky in the last game. If you move to the AI score chart, around move 160 there's a dip into a white win that does NOT correspond to a white *percentage* win. Quirky. Also, if you go by score, it was a pretty close game.

Any chance you can move some of the game records behind hide tags? I haven't dug into the exact cause, but this page seems to have significant slowdowns to load/render on my machine, and I'm guessing it's to do with the sheer number of game records.

Edit: I've created a separate thread to record technical points about the page being slow, so we can avoid polluting this thread. https://lifein19x19.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=17692. Please discuss there.

I think it has more to do with the huge amount of variations in these SGF than in the number of game records.

But yeah, as it is, it's unbearable

Okay... done. I haven't tried to hide them: I recall I tried something on that line on the first league and it wouldn't work. And back then I had more time to try. Since the games I've uploaded have OGS standard filenames, anyone who wants the full AI can download them from there. Also, ai-sensei has a bunch of those games evaluated, now. You can find the updated list at the League's webpage.

Since we're at this, if there's a third League soon after the second one, I'm afraid I'll have to leave the task of uploading the games to someone else. There are several games on this League already that I haven't had time to see (much less watch) myself. My apologies. It's a simple task, but it does take some time, and it doesn't look like late summer or autumn will allow me enough free time to be confident I can be a regular poster.
