| Post subject: | Why was Yokotsuka Riki jump promoted from 3p to 7p? |
Yokotsuka Riki was born in 1994, qualified in 2015 and was promoted in 2017 and again in 2018. In 2019, he was apparently promoted directly to 7p. Why was this? His most notable achievement listed on SL is reaching the finals of the 2020 Shinjin O. Did he qualify for a big title league? |

Ah, it's as John said in July: he got into the Honinbo League. I'll just leave this thread for future reference. |
