For the past week or so (or more? I may have lost track) I haven't been able to see .sgf's display properly on Google Chrome (25.0.1364.45 beta). The stones are spread out over the entire dimensions of the board, not just the playing area, so the stones near tengen are nearly correct and the stones on the first line are completely displaced (off the board). It makes it rather hard to follow games...

Has anyone else seen this? What causes this, and what is the solution? I feel like in the past, I always could make bugs in .sgf display go away by reloading the page or restarting the browser. But now, I've rebooted the whole system a number of times since the problem started...

This is a minor annoyance, because the other browsers are still fine - obviously if I really cared, I would stop using Chrome.

Clarification: I can't see .sgf's display correctly on L19. I can still see KGS, eidogo, etc.

Can you take a screenshot? I've run into some crazy bugs in Eidogo's layout before, but I don't have a clue offhand.

What operating system? Windows 7 is already at 25.0.1364.160 with no problems observed.

I'm on Ubuntu on that laptop. I wondered if I could get it to go away by updating (just to get reset whatever setting is screwed up) but Google insists there is no new version available to which I can update. Perhaps I should just delete and reinstall the whole package...

I will post a screenshot soon, hyperpape - is there anything in particular you are looking for? I'm also going to check to see if sgf small and sgf large have the same problem...

Does magnifying or shrinking the page (ctrl-+ or ctrl--) fix the issue?

Nothing between the default size (Ctrl-0) and large-font fixes it, but I didn't think of shrinking it - I'll try that and report back.

Well, you can probably answer my question without a screenshot: are the stones all shifted in the same direction, or are they shifted outwards from the center of the board, or is there some other pattern?

So predictably, my problem went away without any explanation - I haven't even rebooted since I last witnessed the error.

And they wonder why I never ask for directions when I'm lost reorienting myself...

Hyperpape, it was shifted outwards from the center. The stones and the grid were centered on the same point, but it was as though the stones were plotted with the idea that the grid took up the full area of the yellow space (so the 1st line stones were on the border of the yellow board and the surrounding brown/maroon color).

I’ve had such a thing a while ago (can’t remember the browser, but it was on OS X). I think the reason was that I had set the browser to use a minimum font size.

It's not a problem that only you've had - I've had that problem in the past on certain PCs, however none of the computers I currently have access to have that problem so I can't really test it. One setup that I used to have the problem with was a Debian system using Chrome, but that computer was at my last job, so I can't really fiddle around with it anymore.
