Well, nobody bit.  It is actually hard to go wrong, in the sense of failing to end up with Black winning by 1 point. However, the problem is trickier than I thought. This is a Castle Game between Inoue Dosetsu (White) and Yasui Chitetsu. This was a time of esoteric knowledge, when each go house guarded its secrets. There are indications that House Inoue had a better grasp of the endgame that House Yasui. Certainly Dosetsu seems more sure-footed than Chitetsu. |
