We haven't had one of these in a long, long time...and I miss them. But instead of waiting for one to appear, I figure I'll just start my own. I'll probably grab them from the handful of Go books I got in China. I'll try and post 2 a day. I'll focus on tesuji problems for now, then later transition into L&D (unless people want more tesuji problems). I like tesuji problems because I feel they're more...practical. This is also beneficial for me because it'll have me opening up the books I bought and naturally solve them as I post them as well. Problems #1 + #2: |

Are you expecting answers for white first, black first, or both? |

I'm the last person to ask about tesuji problems, but Shaddy's solution to the bottom problem seems flawed. |

heh heh... I know what your source is! Unfortunately I cannot read it, it's in Chinese... Sometimes the second solution diagram seems to be a variation, not a wrong answer, I wish I knew how to look up the character that is different. ![]() Also, I'm very happy to see that Shaddy came up with the same wrong answer I did when I tried that problem. ![]() |

That was embarassing. I had seen the answer before, but had forgotten it, and then I had a brainfart and couldn't read it out. So I got another 4-5d to help me with it, and together we found the right answer, but then I posted one of our wrong variations >.< |
