I would like if somebody could suggest me what books to read. I am currently around european 1. kyu strenght. On KGS I am 2. kyu, because I dont get to play slow games, I only play 30 min 30/5 byoyomi. Now the school is over, and I will start studying go more seriously(now I played one game per day/get in byoyomi aroundmove 8o :) and sometimes some pro games from go4go. Over summer, I am plnning to start reading some books. I read quite a few when I was weaker, bnut didnt understand almost anything. but I would like to reread the most useful. For now, I have only read Katos Attack and Kill a few weeks ago. How to continue? I was thinking about picking up Invincible and Attack and Defense along with some tsumego, what are best?

I'd advise against getting Attack and Defense. It's a great book, but is aimed more at a mid sdk. I'm not sure how much you'd get from it as a 1k, although if you feel weak at middlegame fighting, then the book may be for you.

nothing is better than playing against someone stronger than 5D.
5D+ usually have correct moves and if you can learn how their view of the game is different than yours then you will improve faster.

My advice would be:
"Get Strong at Tesuji",
"Tesuji",
"1001 Life-and-Death Problems",
"Attack and Defend",
"Graded Go Problems Volume 4",

and then: "501 Tesuji Problems".

I'm pretty sure the guy who gave you the advice would agree to play :)

I hope he will still have enough free time when I'll be strong enough to ask a Malkovich game :)
