I would like if somebody could suggest me what books to read. I am currently around european 1. kyu strenght. On KGS I am 2. kyu, because I dont get to play slow games, I only play 30 min 30/5 byoyomi. Now the school is over, and I will start studying go more seriously(now I played one game per day/get in byoyomi aroundmove 8o ![]() |

I'd advise against getting Attack and Defense. It's a great book, but is aimed more at a mid sdk. I'm not sure how much you'd get from it as a 1k, although if you feel weak at middlegame fighting, then the book may be for you. |

nothing is better than playing against someone stronger than 5D. 5D+ usually have correct moves and if you can learn how their view of the game is different than yours then you will improve faster. |

My advice would be: "Get Strong at Tesuji", "Tesuji", "1001 Life-and-Death Problems", "Attack and Defend", "Graded Go Problems Volume 4", and then: "501 Tesuji Problems". |
