I have the book "Fighting Ko", that covers the ko theory pretty well through out the game, and gives different standard positions where they arise. Not a particularly inspired book. It spends a little too much time on the semantics of types of ko's, but I did pick up some joseki so not bad for the price. Anyway, is there a book kind of like that for ladders? I, like many players, seem to have ignored these suji, since the non ladder tesuji are more generally applicable, however I am starting to see that I have favorable ladders on occasion.

That is the kind of thing I was thinking about, light on the book budget too.

Those Japanese books seem to be out of print.
