Hi,

Here is an experimental tool to see how joseki work (or not) together...

I really like tools like Eidigo or Igowin Joseki to play with... joseki...,
but I wanted something to see how joseki fits with each other.

I started that little tool based on WGo.js, that show some variations on all the corners (well not yet... only the two upper corners partially work for now...)

It's still very buggy and unfinished for now, but if you follow exactly these steps, you may see what's the idea...

Start here :

http://picshell.ovh.org/go/joseki/test.html (hold shift while clicking so that the tool will open on a new window)

then add the following stones by clicking on the goban...

Click Here To Show Diagram Code
[go]$$B
$$ +---------------------------------------+
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
$$ | . . X . . . . . . . . . . O . . . . . |
$$ | . . . O . . . . . , . . . . . X . . . |
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |[/go]

If your device as a keybord :
- B is for black stone
- W is for white stone
- T : toggle on/off change color after each new stone
- C : clear

then click again on the stones, in that order :

Click Here To Show Diagram Code
[go]$$B
$$ +---------------------------------------+
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
$$ | . . 4 . . . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . |
$$ | . . . 3 . . . . . , . . . . . 1 . . . |
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |
$$ | . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . |[/go]

3 and 4 will actually display "1" and "2" as each corner has its own sequence...

Now you are ready... to try the tool...

Press on the keypad on '7' or/and '9' several times... (or use the two upper big buttons on the right of the goban )

that should display several joseki from whose stones
like that :

(PS : the dictionary contains only 3 joseki for now  ..., and all mirror rotation are not fully handeled yet, also the two bottom corners are not yet implemented...)

but that's still funny isn't it ?
