Now that Apple allows flash apps ontheir Ipads/ Ipods/ Iphones is there any chance we'll see KGS ported to apple devices?

Flash has nothing to do with KGS, so the answer would be no.

Apple does not allow Flash apps on the devices. They allow apps built with Flash development tools. And, as oren said, CGoban doesn't use Flash, it uses Java.
