for android it's probably better to use AQ. which network is stronger? elf v2 - leelaz 15b 0c4ade79 (http://zero.sjeng.org/networks/0c4ade79 ... 2b58d92.gz) (5 sec/move, gt 610): 15b network https://github.com/leela-zero/leela-zero/issues/2192

What is your use case And? All the bots are way to strong these days so shouldn't "best" have to do with playing experience rather than strength? Although I contributed cpu time to LZ for the last couple of years, I would not even consider it now. I consider katago "best" due to the alternative rule sets, komi, and the interesting way it plays handicap games. Sadly I do not yet have a mobile device that can run even the really small nets at a reasonable pace. But when (not if) I do, I will not need the "strongest" net. |

I like KataGo, but for android there is no KataGo yet. lz 15b 0c4ade79 is made on the basis of lz 270 - this is about experience. and some networks may not work on weak devices. With this in mind, which network is better? |

I use The 0c4 15b leela network in the ah q go app ( https://apkpure.com/ah-q-go-lite-alphag ... id.aq.lite ) with the ladder patch turned on. I set to 1 thread , 2 playouts on my likebook mars e ink ereader and play out the moves on a real board. It is easily dan level and plays fast! Really great, free, offline experience. In order to play first AND get a 7.5 komi, I play as white and use this sgf ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i6qEpN ... p=drivesdk ) with one white stone already on a 4,4 space. It will give you an error message that black has passed, you can just click yes and then play a game against leela. here is the online sgf editor if you want to create a different opening arrangement: http://yewang.github.io/besogo/ elfv2 is very good with the ladder patch as well, at 5 sec/move (1po, 1 thread) if you have internet, 20b katago is strongest, instant moves https://katagui.herokuapp.com/ , basically pro level bot. |

I use the latest KataGo 15block at 3 second thinking time. Works great! It is funny how different 3 second and 4 second feels as respond time. 3 seconds feels really quick but 4 seconds feels kind of slow! |

Yeah, definitely agree with you about 3 seconds vs 4! I was thinking of getting the new ipod touch just to use katago, but probably wait until it gets under $100. Until then will just play against the webapp on my ereader when I have internet. Then download the sgf of the incomplete game to continue the same game except with leela instead when there's no internet or on the go. |
