He uses 20 visits with the 15b. Thats why long think time. its better with newer phones, but its a very, very strong bot. crushes golaxy 7d http://eidogo.com/#xb9fa2Aq katago is black, by move 56 golaxy had .02% (less than 1%) chance to win.

I think maybe the app uses the 64bit binary so will only work on 64bit devices. it works on my tablet but not on chromebook |

no, the reason is different. the application is installed and starts working. 64 bit won't even install |

Have you all tried Badukpop? https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ukpop.prod It seems decent but I don't like how they push you to get a sub. I wanna learn go but not bad enough to pay monthly for an app. |

@Rowan, yeah just by doing one set of their tsumego everyday you'll probably get better and have alot of fun. But for playing matches against the ai, no way. i like the names of the players though. Maybe try katago 6b 1 playout with handicap? or crazystone @And I think the app is 32/64 bit, just the katago binary is 64 bit. so just the offline binary which is not installed wont work. The part that is installed (online) does. Just like on your computer you can install Lizzie but not katago. |

Online GO - KataGo works on the tablet, thinks like a BadukAI. when the choice of difficulty level appears, it will be interesting! |

The new version of golaxy (december 2nd update) gives you a trophy when you beat the opponent, which is a nice touch. Baduk Ai still has better game play though, but both are good. i think golaxy is only available if you download tencent's app store. I think the opponents are rated maybe 6-10 stones stronger than they really are, which is good, because anyone from beginners to mid dan can have an interesting match. you can see how the trophy looks if you hit the show button below. |
