Hi,
I'm encountering a stupid user problem and I hope you can help.
I'm using the Android app BadukAI, which is quite similar to a great Android frontend of katrain (I hope I'm not offending anyone).
I like it a lot, but I keep messing up my games (against AI) by accidentally touching that timeline/sequence line under the board. By this, my hand swoops the game back many moves or even to the start, but then I can't get back to where I was (last moves that were played). The timeline looks as if the game had been shorter. I can recreate a certain number of moves, but not all.
Two questions:
Any idea how to get back to my last game position? Is there some way of scrolling further that I'm missing?
How can I avoid that, apart from being more careful? Is there a way to turn this 'rewinding' off?
It's really frustrating when suddenly in the middle game everything is set back to the opening...
Thank you for any advice!

You can tap "Load sgf", then in the popup dialog "Load last position". This will load the last board position where you or AI played a stone (which is what you want, if I understand correctly).

So it saves the sgf during the game, or must I do that from time to time?

Otherwise it sound just like what I need.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, it saves the position automatically whenever a stone is placed (primarily intended for resuming a game after the app has been kicked out of memory when in background).
