Smartgo Kifu has become my preferred traveling go board. However, when used on a moving train or plane, it really needs a means of mis-tap prevention. Tygem's double tap system works well for me. The KGS confirm button sounds about equally useful. Any chance that something can be added to Smartgo?

Can you please provide more detail so I can understand the issue better? Are you playing against another person or the computer? As SmartGo Kifu doesn't support online play yet, the consequences of a mis-tap seem minor, just take back that move. Also, if you double-tap on the board to zoom in, do you still get mis-taps?

The situation is playing against another person, either sitting side by side or even passing the iPad across the aisle. My opponents are generally less used to the touch screen than I am and there is a high incidence of mis-taps. It is not convenient to repeatedly expand the screen. While the real consequences of mis-taps are minor, they do inject a significant element of frustration. Any help would be great.

If you hold your finger down until the blue lines are in the right place, isn't that enough?

If you are sitting still the blue lines are helpful. However, in a moving vehicle, your finger tip easily 'slides' as you are picking it up and you get a Mis-tap.
