I've discovered a bug in EasyGo on the iPad. I imported a game I played using another iPad app called Igowin HD. I played White and resigned the game. The detail I get in Igowin HD is "B+Resigns" which is correct because I played White and resigned the game. But when after I emailed myself the game to open in EasyGo, when I looked at the game information by selecting the Information button on the bottom, I saw that EasyGo didn't correctly note the game result. Instead it said "No result". I said no problem so I edited the game result manually. But for some reason EasyGo insisted on "W+Resigns" which is wrong even though I manually checked off Black and Resigns. I don't know if I'm doing this wrong but isn't it true the convention to note the winner of the game is to put either W or B to signify the winner and then select a reason why the color won by noting the reason for the other color losing? |

I just checked it out. If I edit the game info manually in EasyGo, If I set Black won by resignation, then the result is W+Resign. If I set white won by resignation, then the result is B+Resign. I think it's a bug, I'll correct it in next version, sorry for that. As to EasyGo can't recognize the result by Igowin HD, please send me the original sgf file produced by Igowin HD at address: easygo361 at gmail.com, I'll look into it. |

This bug happens even if I don't import SGF files into the program. Yes, please fix this bug. |

I just bought Igowin HD, and sent out a game(B won by resignation) from Igowin by email. After imported to EasyGo, EasyGo game info shows "Result : B+R", after tap the blue button on the right, the detailed game result window shows Black won by unknown. So it seems a little bit different from your description(you said EasyGo shows no result). The reason why it shows Black won by unknown is that Igowin recorded B+R in the RE property, and EasyGo only recongnizes B+Resign, I just checked out the SGF standard(http://www.red-bean.com/sgf/properties.html#RE), it states clearly B+R and B+Resign should both work, so I will correct this in the next version. |

Thank you...because I was about to ask if there's any way to test whether or not Easy Go might *change* the game result given this bug. I was worried about EasyGo literally reading a result like B+R and reversing it to show W+R. |
