I can now say definitively that Drago kills SGF files with branches if you choose to play a game with a variation tree. I started off by playing a game using my iPad with Igowin HD. I then emailed myself the game so I can import it using Drago. I then created variations in the game and saved it. I opened up the game in another SGF editor to be sure the variations were there. I went back to Drago to see the variation tree still there. However this time I chose to select a variation branch and play from that point. Drago does fine when playing from a variation branch *but* once you choose to play the branch, Drago kills the variation tree and sets up the game as if there are no variation branches in the file. So once the game is over, if you try to find the variation tree that was in the current file you opened...it's gone.

My temporary workaround to this issue is the following:

1. After importing games with variation branches...name the file with a "V" letter to remind yourself the game has variations.
2. When playing Drago using a variation branch, simply save the file using a new name with the "Save as" option this way you can retain the original file with the variation branch.

I think this is a bug because I don't think variation branches should disappear if you choose to play a line in a file you've created.
