Hi All,
For those who are interested, I just created a Pachi (10.00) app for android. It should run on all devices running android 2.1 or higher.
The APK is available here :
https://sourceforge.net/projects/android-pachi/files/
I would like to get some feedback from other users to know if it is stable or not (I'm very worried about memory issues). The app automatically sends me crash reports, so please turn your internet connection on if you try it.
Note that it's currently an alpha build. I used the same UI as my other app (ElyGo) so some buttons/settings don't do anything (like the level), but I will work on that later.
I will upload it on Google Play when it will be stable enough.
Any comments and suggestions are welcome !
If you want to look at the source code (I will add a readme soon) : https://github.com/Daimas/android-pachi

Re: Pachi app for android
Thanks for this! I just played a 9x9 game and it beat me, so I guess everything's working correctly...

Very awesome! I'm not totally sure about the scoring function--the final board looked like this:
Not sure if it's supposed to show territory, but it has that one white 'X' at the bottom!
On a Acer Iconia Tab 7" running 4.1.2
(Sorry about the volume bar, the screenshot works by pushing the volume and power buttons at the same time, and I'm bad at it.)

Re: Pachi app for android
I had a similar weirdness with marking dead stones, but it gave the final score correctly, so I assume it's just a visual mistake.

On an Xperia Mini (320 x 480 pixels display), the setup activity does not fit in the screen, so the handicap is not visible. You should be able to test such a small display on the emulator.
Also, when playing on Level 1, pachi sometimes stopped playing. I could enter its move, then play mine, and it would start thinking again.

Re: Pachi app for android
Here's an issue to check on--I was playing black on 19x19, if that makes a difference. I tried it twice and it did the same thing both times.
I mis-clicked, and hit 'undo' (after waiting for the computer to take its turn.) The game automatically took back both moves, BUT after I replayed my own move, it made me play the opponent's next move as well.
