Are 8mm sized stones wobbly and are they smaller in size as in they would not look messy on the board when there is a huge fight going on |

8mm glass perfect size for 3cm goban, or diy board. Not very wobbly, nice to handle. |

There are no rules about what board thickness goes with what stone thickness. You are free to use any size you want on your 3 cm board. As for 8mm glass vs. 8mm slate and shell, I think they will be comparable but probably the stone thickness would be more consistent with the slate and shell. The thickness of so-called 8mm glass stones I have seen varies somewhat. |
