¡Hola a todos!
I can remember when I started and I was looking to buy my very first set and I had problem to find also the basic information that were not only plainly advertising this or that.

Here I found a new interesting idea: a not so costy set - less than 9 € - made of twelve pairs of all the kind of stones
(but for the very costy Japanese Shell and Slate).

I think this is a good way to test the options for an online shop and if you are not likely to have a Go Club close where your live.

That's a neat product to offer. When I bought stones years ago I spent quite a while reading opinions of others and settled on size 33 which is about 9mm thick and they area good size. Not too thin, not too thick. It would have been nice to have this option back then.

Some makers offer replacement stones in packs of 4 or so. I received one with my shell stones and purchased one from another maker for my Yunzi stones. This is an option.

After all that, I only play with my 15mm diameter (mini) stones now.
