I am a solitary internet go player who wishes to play more face to face games. Is there anyone in my neck of the woods out there? |

This page on the AGA web site lists go clubs in CA, and there are several in the LA area. If none of them is close to you maybe one of the organizers of the LA-area clubs would know of someone close to you. https://www.usgo.org/where-play-go?state=CA#listing |

There is a thread someplace about LA go clubs called 'To Live and Die in LA'. EDIT: I found it: http://www.lifein19x19.com/forum/viewto ... ubs#p87134 |

Send me an e-mail at president-at-usgo-dot-org. I live in the LA area and know much of what's going on around here. One option is the South Bay Ki-in. They meet Saturday afternoons in the basement of the New Gardena Hotel on Redondo Beach Blvd., not sure how big and noisy the crowd is now, but they do meet. Tell them I suggested you try them out. Pretty convenient from Long Beach. There is also a club called the Gardena Go Club on Western Ave. just a bit North of Redondo Beach Blvd. on the East side of the street. Don't remember the address but they're there. There is also a club in Garden Grove, unless it closed. I did an EJ story about it, so search the news part of www.usgo.org for "grove" and you should get the address. I'll try looking it up later. Andy O. |
