Hi, I'm Go lover in Korea.

I'm planning to travel some European countries(including France, Germany, England...) in this september.
If I can play Go and meet some Go friends in Europe during the travel, that will be a great pleasure for me.
In this reason, I'd like to ask for a place that I can enjoy Go in Europe.
Though I can't speak French or Germany and I can only speak English a little, I believe that the communication with hands - Go will give me a joy.
I heard that there are some Go Clubs in some cities, but I don't know the specific information.

Your advice will help me very much :)

There follow links to every German state (bundesland). Landesverband means "association of a state's clubs". Typically, look for Spielabende or Spieltreffs to find dates and places of clubs.

If you're visiting Ireland our club list is here: http://www.irish-go.org/clubs-tournaments/

If you've any specific enquiries about a particular club feel free to PM me and I'll get in contact with someone from that city and find out for you.

And if you would happen to visit Finland, here's the list of regular club gatherings: http://www.suomigo.net/wiki/PeliIllat (organized by days of week, the first column is the city, the second is the name of the club with link to the information page, and the third column is the location - which, unfortunately, may be a little cryptic for a non-Finnish speaker)

Berlin (Germany) has a very active Go community with club meetings almost every day. Depending on time and day I could assist you travling through the city and such.

When you are in London, come to the City of London Go club http://www.citygoplayers.org.uk/

We meet on Friday evenings from 18:00 hrs until closing time (23:00) in an informal atmosphere.

We are close to Chancery Lane underground station in the "Melton Mowbray" public house, usually upstairs overlooking the bar.

We hope to see you soon.

So, myaunt_mary visited my place in the Lüneburg Heath, the North German wilderness where barbarians dwell. It was a great pleasure for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting some places together; it also was a great honour for me that myaunt_mary accompanied me to the weekly Go workshop I instruct at the local school, and the (currently only two) kids were delighted to play against such a nice “special guest”, and “hand talk” seemed to work really well.

I, BTW, got blown away (no real surprise) when I chose to play w/o handicap, just black, on 9x9.

The visit at the Hamburg Go Club was very cool: I got to watch a few really amazing games like I’d never before seen … I had the feeling I’d grown two stones stronger through pure osmosis  such a calm way of playing, superficially non-aggressive, until the opponent suddenly realizes what great loss would happen, it was a surprise—apparently a nice one—for the strongest players there to take HC :-D It was the best example I’ve ever seen of what somebody wrote somewhere else (I don’t remember where it was): “In Go you don’t kill stones, the opponent lets them die.”

You’re welcome any time, myaunt_mary, should you ever visit Germany again!

Here’s a photo I took of us both at the departure today morning at Hamburg’s main railway station where myaunt_mary mounted the ICE train to the next destination:
