I know SE often is wrong, but this was a new twist. ![]() Notice the almost complete lack of territory for either player. ![]() For reference, here's what they usually look like. |

Guess it's because it identified the two groups in the middle as a seki, and there are no points in a seki. Whole board seki ![]() |

Perhaps it did. Seki is a pretty fantastic conclusion for the lower left corner, or the vast black area just above. |

Getting the status of the both white groups on the bottom wrong is a nice touch. |

Not only that. Only two points which it assigned actually were points. |

Yeah, seems like if its strange idea of L&D gets extra confused it then just declares everything in the vicinity neutral. I just got that yesterday while running through some variations in a ongoing DGS game. Whoohoo! It's a tie! Bruce "Cheater" Young |

Getting the L+2 group wrong is a nice touch. |

daal wrote: Here's another funny one: ![]() If Black has sente, then bJ5 could threaten to capture White, hence B could come out around L7, however would then probably be captured in a huge net wM5. How is a computer supposed to see this? Displaying the status of both groups as unsettled, seems appropriate at first. (After a long absence from GD/Life_in_19x19, I play around a bit with file attachments and forum editing, while actually the absence was very good for my productivity at work ![]()
