I have found that just because I have a '?' next to my name any time a regularly ranked player is losing to me he disconnects. Do I haver any recourse for these games. It really seems unfair. It has reached a point where I will pay people to play me. Anyone interested let me know. |

If it is really too much of a problem, you may try playing the bots until you get a solid rank. They are free and they will not refuse to play you. |

Have you tried automatch? In my experience there are very few escapers in automatch games. |

You could also ask for games in the lifein19x19.com room. I doubt you're going to find a lot of escapers there. Some people may still get real disconnects though.

No you don't. The only difference regarding escapes between automatch and a normal game is that in a normal game when you leave during the first few moves the players can choose not to save the game and thus make it no escape. In ranked automatch games I have an escaper rate in the order of 1%. It's only much higher when I play unranked games against guests. |

I've seen several escapers while using automatch. On the other hand, while I've struggled to get a game with a "?" next to my name, I've never had a problem with opponents escaping. Losing to a "?" player doesn't hurt your rating more than normal. So maybe you just have had bad luck, and it could change. |

I'm sorry players have shown such poor sportsmanship  . Eventually those escapes will turn into forfeits.
