Are you trying to get a rank or play a robot? Because there's another option...

Long term: get enough people to complain to KGS admins so they allow more ranked bots.

I don't think that it is the admins that are holding back the number of bots. I could be wrong, but I think that anybody who seems honest who wants to run a bot is allowed it. It's a question of how many people are willing to leave their machine running the bot all days long, and how many bot authors are willing to give away their programs so that other people can connect them to KGS.

how to catch a rank bot? they dissapear so quickly! ^ ^ 1-2 seconds for 7-4k (aya, gnugo, postneo…)

The number of non unique ranked bots is limited. And since there aren't too many different bots the number of ranked bots in total is effectively limited. For example I don't think somebody wanting to host a ranked gnugo would get approved. But I don't want to derail this thread further, we already had a thread where we discussed this.
