 Post subject: Pandanet IGS Account Management System Broken?

So I switched email providers and I wanted to set my new email address as the account email for my IGS account. I was sent a confirmation email with a link to confirm the new address, but the website just showed me a Sorry, unknown user! error message. Trying to reset my password also leads to the same error. Is the account management system broken for everyone else too?

(I can continue to sign in into the client and play games normally. I first tried to change my email about two months ago, but the issue doesn't seem to be resolved in that time span. I tired contacting the support over the Pandanet IGS contact form on their website but never got a response.)

It seems 1 feature is broken that hardly anyone ever uses (changing your preferred email address) but the account creation and password recovery system works just fine.

Can't you just have all your emails forwarded from your old email account to your new one? Besides, if you don't receive emails from Pandanet, are you really missing anything important? (just a few spam messages and contest winners, etc...)

I would recommend you just create a new account with your new email address if this is an extremely dire issue that is of high importance to you. (just please don't use your work email, since that might get you in trouble with your boss!) :lol:

Try e-mailing the Japanese staff.
