On my user stat page, there is a ranking and a rating. What is the difference? Both of mine say 10k and each are followed by a number. What do those numbers mean? |

Thanks Helel and Ed. That explains what the number is after my rating (12458 -which means I've got a ways to go until 10k+), but doesn't explain the meaning of the number after my rank (25). Any ideas? |

Is there any description of the guts of the IGS rating system? All the links I've found so far are just tables listing what rating corresponds to which rank. |
