I find no reason not to play here. |

my first feeling about that move...aji keshi. it is giving black the flexable shape in sente. i understand that he doesnt want to play bamboo and try to find something more efficient but that is not what white should play.

Sorry for the delay, I got really busy with school for a couple of days. "As long as it doesn't kill me, college is a lot of fun."
This solidifies the corner and peeps underneath white's right side, just like in the bottom right. It's not an active exciting move, but my judgment says it's best in this position. |

I'd say I'm ahead if this is a komi game. Black sure has a lot of solid territory, but with no potential. He has seriously lost the general situation. |

Trigger:
"Are you sure this will work?" "Ha ha, I have no idea!" So my original intention was to play - below, but if he continued as shown then I don't think I can live afterward (and even if I somehow did, the result doesn't look too good).
So instead, I'm going to probe at the bottom and see if he reveals his hand down there. Then I can decide what to play above. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play the move I triggered, but I put in that trigger just in case he does. |

Is this a good move? I don't know! All I know is that it is reading week, and I finally don't have to sleep on a couch at school in order to finish homework on time . Anyway, there's some interesting aji he left behind with his jump on the last move, but something is telling me I should leave it for now and perhaps come back to it later. Also, since he didn't directly respond to my attachment at the bottom, I feel my middle group has enough flexibility to leave it be for now. |

Yea, this is loose, but can he point out the weakness? |

Okay, I don't really understand that last move by him. Since he responded in what I think seems a passive way, I'm just going to go and take what I think is the next biggest move on the board. I believe my stone has enough aji that he won't be able to outright capture it very easily. As for invading the top-left, it seemed like the next biggest move to me, though I'm not always a very good judge of such things. |

This was my alternative, but I think the top side isn't big. |

Hey, not seeing too many comments from other people so far, so wanted to say I'm enjoying following the game! (Even if it is over my head, a bit...) For Dusk Eagle Nothing really important, but I'm loving (LOVING!) the TF2 references. |

@schultz: Glad you like them. I'll try to get a couple more Valve-related quotes thrown in, as long as I can think of any more that can vaguely relate to the game.
"No, Ash, things will not work out if you try hard enough! The Pokemon trainer's judgement is more important than anything else, and unfortunately for you, the trainer needs to have a brain!" Well, here goes the really complicated sequence in the bottom left corner. I've tried my best to read out all the variations, but when the sequences get long and complicated, there's always the chance I screwed up my reading somewhere.
