Without this move its ko:
I thought of S6 as a more efficient way to protect against this, but it lets white reduce me a bit start from P2 and honestly I don't think I need that trouble. By my count I am solidly 15 points ahead. |

Strategy and Thoughts Feels like the right time to come back here and defend. All groups on the board are essentially safe, so we properly enter the end game now. As for the monkey jump defense... This move to defend is correct like 80% of the time. I think this is one of them, but I haven't really studied it all that hard, so this might be a case where the normal defense is sub optimal. |

I had to check many times if I misread but I don't simply see any move that is remotely threatening. Either my opponent vastly outread me or he didn't read at all. |

Strategy and Thoughts Bah. Fine, I screwed that up. I'll still aim to protect all this in gote. A few points lost but not the end of the world. |

A small point in sente before I take action against F13. I'm very confused tbh as to the big points on the board now. Small question to observes: what is your thought processes in this stage at the beginning of endgame? I find it very hard to determine where the big moves are. |

Strategy and Thoughts I don't think I can win if we just go into the endgame. So I make some forcing exchanges I think black will respond to. Then I will aim at circle below and see if I can severely attack black.

I guess he counted. I should have a ton of forcing moves here which I will use first.
Something like this looks possible. |

Strategy and Thoughts Putting some severe pressure on this black group. No particularly sophisticated strategy or reading yet, just poking and seeing how he'll respond. I don't expect to kill this group, but I do expect to build up strength to threaten the central black group, which may or may not die, but will give me some profit regardless (like securing my moyo). |

Good thing I didn't use triggers, this is is much better than I could have hoped. This not only gives me an eye, but removes the liberty issues I was having with the G17 stones in some of my variations where I try to cut off and counter attack F13. I think this descent is better than a capture because it gives me some endgame moves against K18. |

At this stage, if I'm black, I'm thinking "I've won this game by so much that I'll just start connecting all of my groups and clearly making two eyes in all of them to ensure my safety, because points have become irrelevant at this point. If I don't die, I win." There's some interesting aji at E13 and G13. I wonder if Aph has taken notice of it yet. Still, I think he'll live quite easily with both groups. |

Tactics and Variations If black plays like this, I think I can kill him outright.

This is an odd looking move that I didn't find at first. I read through a ton of variations, but they all boil down to a few themes: 1. This obviously threatens to make an eye killing the G14 stone. White can try to make this eye false, but the forcing moves that result give me another eye elsewhere and letting me live. 2. It threatens to connect out. White cannot stop this connection without letting me live locally. 3.If white tries to mess with the connection of this keima, the aji near L17, M16, and L16 will break his position. |

Strategy and Thoughts If my goal was to attack this group aiming to kill, this would probably be counter productive. But I'm really aiming at strength to attack the central black group, so I think this is fine. |

black's top group is safe in sente and now he can turn his attention to the center group.
These are just a few of the variations I came up with but I think black can live in sente at the top or connect his groups without too much trouble. There might also be a better move than the move 1 that I came up with, I also may have missed something so if you see any mistakes please let me know. |
