White can cut, but I'm ready to fight here. |

Playing Q14 and letting white invade 3-3 just feels way too big. I don't think white can enclose the center perfectly in 1 move, so I'll put my bet on erasing white's center. |

@fevobod, the game seems playable as black, but I have no idea which side is actually better.

This move has a strong followup of L12—which allows White to easily shift the direction of development during or following an invasion of the right—and is good shape against a Q8 + R12 invasion. The fact that it expands the right is of secondary importance. |

White's last move doesn't force black to connect, but I don't know where to dive in further on the center. White has a lot of potential on the right side, so I may end up building too much territory for white on the right. I could invade directly to the right side, but that's also risking losing the game immediately by being captured all. I'll just start with an easy, still valuable, move. |

If Black K3, I'll give bottom points in exchange for center. White's center shapes are now solid enough to play this way, especially after S7 and L12. If Black N4, I'll simply live on the bottom and allow a minor center reduction. |

Since he's gone all-in for the center, I'll go all-in for this invasion. |

This looks too deep for black to live. Was the game really going to be so bad if black just chilled at the bottom instead? Something around a seems more consistent to black's last few moves. |

Counting, it's not necessary for White to play an all-in strategy, such as killing the Q10 group or pushing it out into the center to attempt a double attack on it and the F10 group. On the other hand, pushing Black in the above direction has a high chance of causing Black to play some very forceful sequences, allowing White's stones to improve their efficiency or come back alive, such as with L15. Since Black decided to invade without making any prep work, White is attacking in the most forceful way, making it more difficult for Black to find good timing for other prep moves and threatening to create heavy shape while building the outside (such as Black pushing up at P10). It also removes Q8 for Black. If Black still tries Q8 (or even O10), White can simply poke through. I imagine Black is going to try attaching around O12 or P13, however both seem to be fine for White. |

The goal is to squeeze Black around the O13 stone to surround the right and center and give Black an inefficient group.
The sequences arising from the above hane at P14 seems either too passive or unnecessarily complicated (see below). Just because you're ahead doesn't mean you should play too passive or too aggressive. (These lead to complacency or arrogance.) I suggest trying to find a middle ground. P12 would push Black to White's weak stones. It's the wrong direction.

To rlaalswo and spectators:
Did you consider this, too? What would you have expected white to do? |

I missed the effectiveness of followup K13 in surrounding the L16 area in sente. So perhaps something like P14, instead of Q12, would have actually been better. I won't assume my opponent doesn't see it. |
