I had a lot of fun with this game. The problem was I completely misread the move I played. And I had a feeling I had misplayed prior. It's tough because overall I don't think I played terribly in this game per se but at my level of course that's probably outrageous to say.

I think you lack confidence. You saw that you made bad moves, but weren't aware that I made almost as many bad moves as you. Go is a long game, I've already won games in which I was behind by 30 points at move 150 and vice-versa.

I think it's fair to say I lack confidence. I haven't played too many games since I came back. Especially not against people. I never got fully comfortable with losing which is probably a trait that holds me back significantly. It's not something I easily confess either. I remember when I was stuck at 7k for the longest time. One of the most frustrating periods of my Go playing life. I think my last roadblock was 10k. But once I became 6k I dropped down to 5k pretty quick. Probably not playing at a 5k level now but I crush 8k bots which is sort of surprising to me.
